We are a growing young adult faith community based in Thousand Oaks, California. We are ELCA affiliated, however we welcome people from all faith traditions and walks of life. Gather is not a church, but has connections to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and young adults that attend churches throughout Ventura County.
Gather is a space for anyone who identifies as a young adult and...
- Who doesn't have other young adults at their church
- Isn't closely tied to their church
- Who is involved in their church and wants to meet new people and connect their young adult community to other young adults throughout Ventura County.
- Who might not jive with traditional church
- Who want to ask questions and dive deeper together
- Who may have had a hard time finding a church to connect with.
This young adult ministry will be what you bring to it. We’re glad you’re here, and can’t wait to gather together.
Once a month we plan an outing such as Trivia, a hike, or meal to meet in community

While Gather Thousand Oaks is not a church, we are deeply connected to the faith life of Ventura County. We partner with congregations who want to:
- Support young adult ministry
- Co‑host events, Bible studies, or service opportunities
- Connect their young adults with a wider community
- Explore creative, nontraditional ministry spaces
