Pause. Breath. Light a candle for a loved one. And join us in singing Holden Evening Prayer. December 21st is the Winter solstice, and while we aren’t gathering quite on that night, we hope you will join us on December 17th instead. Though Christmas is a time of joy and hope, we also recognize that fear and grief are often present too, weighing on us like a heavy fog. No matter what emotions we carry with us, we will pause, keep vigil, and invite God to be with us.
The HTLC Choir presents The Glory of Christmas at the 11am Service on December 21st.
4pm: Playful family-oriented service with candlelight, no communion
7pm: Christmas Eve by candlelight and choir, with communion
9pm: Christmas Eve by candlelight and soloists, with communion
Only ONE Worship service on December 28th at 10am. Wear your pajamas to church! Or your favorite Christmas sweater. Come comfortable and as you are. We’ll have treats and sing Christmas songs, hearing the stories of the time following Jesus’ birth and holding tightly to the hope that it brings.
