Madagascar, Paris and the US: How can they work together to address the climate crisis?

Led by Ally Sadowski

Ally recently graduated from University of California Berkeley where she majored in Environmental Science and minored in both Marine Science and Global Poverty Practice.  In the summer of 2017, Ally traveled for 6 weeks in rural Madagascar to work with local communities on environmental sustainability and conservation research.  In her talk, she will recount her experiences in Madagascar living and working with communities affected by climate change. She will then lead a broader conversation about the international cooperation to address the climate crisis—the Paris Climate accord, the differing roles between developing countries and superpowers, and the future of United States participation.
