Blessing of the Quilts

Throughout the year, the ladies of the Dorcas Circle spend time stitching together beautiful quilts that are donated to the Goebel Center for distribution. The Goebel Center distributes the quilts for use within the local community.

During the worship service, Pastor Frank led the blessing of the quilts by describing how his Grandmother made a quilt for him when he was a child out of old skirts from his seven aunts. “It was like the warmth and the love of my family wrapped around me.”
