Is the Jordan River still a holy place?  This summer we are doing a special sermon series on rivers in the Bible. If I had to pick one river in Scripture that I would say is the most important or most famous it would have to be the Jordan River. The Jordan River plays a crucial role in many stories both in the Old and New Testament. In the book of Joshua, the people of
Israel finally come to the Promised Land after 40 years in the wilderness. In order to enter into that land they have to cross over the Jordan River.
