“Treatment Counseling for High-Risk Children” led by Ginny Connell
Ginny will describe what a “high-risk” child is and why it is so important that they receive counseling support as early as possible. The program she leads, PDAP (Palmer Drug Abuse Program) of Ventura County, is currently focused on middle school students so that they can make a strong impact on their choices and needs. They also continue to counsel high school students referred by a juvenile court.
Ginny Connell’s background is as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for 43 years, with the last 28 years as Executive Director of PDAP. Before that, she was an elementary school teacher in Brooklyn, New York during the 60s.
