Quinn Stone sings an “action song” during the Sunday School Welcome Celebration

In his first month at Holy Trinity, Quinn has quickly endeared himself to the middle and high school youth and has generated numerous program topics that pique student interest and result in lively conversation and thought.

On Tuesday nights Quinn can be found working with High School students in the Hut focusing on a wide range of Bible study topics; on Wednesday he is with middle school students during Confirmation class.

On Sunday mornings, he can be found leading lively welcome celebrations for the Sunday school students including children ages Pre-K through middle school.  They sing songs, share “joys” such as birthdays or other news, dance, and then depart for their classrooms.

Quinn grew up in Oceanside, CA and is favorite place to be is at the beach – preferably Carlsbad.  Quinn also loves all things cars and enjoys going to car shows.  His biggest role models in life have been the pastors he is close with: Rev. Steve Awbrey, Rev. Ramon Zarate and the Rev. Melissa Doherty and Rev. Scott Maxwell Doherty.  “They passed on wisdom, love, compassion, care and sometimes a swift kick to the rear,” states Quinn.
