Our sermon this third Sunday of Advent will be given at all three services; 8:15, 9:45 and 11:00AM.  Please join us at the time of your choice.

Our Sunday School will meet in their classrooms for a lesson on the birth of Jesus.  After Sunday school, the children involved in the Christmas Play will have their last regular rehearsal (there will also be a full dress rehearsal on Saturday, December 17 at 10AM).  Our Youth will meet in the Library at their regularly scheduled times of 9:45 and 11:00 for middle and high school groups.  The nursery is open for infant care during all three services as always.

Our Spiritual Growth “Adult Forum” takes place in the Fireside Room during the 9:45 service and again at 11:00.  Gerry Swanson will facilitate the last week of a continued discussion about our “all church read”, “Twelve Steps to a Compassionate Life” by author Karen Armstrong.  Today’s topic is “Knowledge, Recognition, Love Your Enemies, A Last Word.”  At 11:00 Reni Pasricha leads participants in a spiritual journey based on the book “The Hidden Power of the Gospels” by Alexander Shaia, focusing this week on “The Gospel of Luke:  Walking the Road to Riches”.
