On October 4, 1959 Holy Trinity Lutheran Church held its first worship service, and on October 4, 2009 we will launch our 50th Anniversary celebrations with a special event with good food, good music, and great fellowship right on our church grounds. (Events will continue through the spring, culminating with a formal event in April coinciding with the 50th anniversary of Holy Trinity’s official formation.) You won’t want to miss it. Disneyland Selects Holy Trinity for Candlelight

For the second year in a row, Disneyland selected the Holy Trinity Choir to participate in the 2009 Candlelight Processional on December 5th.

For the past 50 years, church and school choirs audition to join the mass 700+ member Choir by submitting audition tapes of recent recordings and one which Disney selects. This year, our Choir submitted the recording of our Sunday Anthem “Be Still” and Disney’s arrangement of “What Child is This.”

The short 8 week preparation of memorizing the 12 arrangements, ends with a regional rehearsal at Newbury Park HS (also selected).

At Disneyland December 5th, there is a short warmup with the musicians and guest narrator and two performances at 5:30 PM and 8:00 PM.
