“Why do we drink wine?”
“Does it matter what kind of bread we use?”
“What is God doing when we come to the Communion table?”
Inquiring minds want to know!
If your children are asking questions or showing interest in receiving Communion, now may be a good time to provide instruction that is age-appropriate and supports them in their faith journey.
Instruction is provided for children at every age. Classes are forming now for October 16, 17, and 18 from 12:45 - 1:30Pm and from 1:30 to 2:15PM. Other times and dates can be arranged.
If you have questions or would like to sign your child up, please call Pastor Janet at the church office at (805) 492-1234 as soon as possible. Everyone must register in advance to ensure available materials. First Communion Sunday is October 21st at the 8:30 and 11:00 worship services - young people and their families will commune together at this time. Please feel free to invite friends and family members to join us on this special day.
