By Jun 06, 2005

Every year, the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Council spends a day in retreat to elect new Executive Officers, assign Committee Liaisons, to refocus on upcoming Congregational goals, and to grow spiritually together as the body of Christ.

For 2005, the Council elected Gary Bague President, Sheri Groenveld Vice President, Steven Kammerer Treasurer, Howard Young Secretary and assigned the following Council Members as liaisons to church ministries:

The Council reviewed and discussed the 2005 Congregational goals. Holy Trinity accomplished several goals by filling the open Custodian position, establishing the bylaws for the Endowment Fund, and discussions regarding Honey Tree expansion have started.

Moreover, Holy Trinity Lutheran Church hired Architect Amador Whittle to develop a program document for Holy Trinity, in March 2005. This document will become the stepping stone to our Master Use Plan or evolve into our plan.

With six months remaining in the year, the Council and Congregation still need to evaluate the Contemporary Worship Service, develop a strategy for passionate spirituality, identify and plan ways to restructure committees, look at fund raising for capital improvements, and review additional staffing requirements such as hiring a Music Director.
